Due in part to the power and money of special interest groups, the news media has been very successful in portraying Trial Lawyers in a negative fashion. Indeed, the media has worked hard to make people believe that "Trial Lawyer" is a dirty term and that Trial Lawyers are simply shysters that file frivolous lawsuits. That is what they want you to believe. Don't be fooled.
I believe that being a Trial Lawyer is one of the greatest callings a person can answer. True Trial Lawyers are often the last champions of liberty, fighting for justice and fairness on behalf of their clients against overwhelming odds. A Trial Lawyer is often not only the best advocate for the average person, but frequently, that person's only voice against the government, big businesses and special interest groups that possess enormous power and money.
Why do special interests groups, like the insurance industry, seek to paint Trial Lawyers in such a negative way? Because they know that true Trial Lawyers will insist on nothing less than full and adequate justice for their clients. That scares them. A Trial Lawyer should be a modern-day-knight in shining armor, hence our firm's logo.
A true Trial Lawyer recognizes that frivolous lawsuits do nothing but harm those who have suffered legitimate damages and we have absolutely no interest in participating in any claim that doesn't have merit. However, much of the public outcry concerning frivolous lawsuits can be traced back to the carefully crafted campaigns of these special interest groups that simply wish to line their own pockets and avoid responsibility for their actions and negligence.
We believe it is essential to hold those who have injured or damaged others responsible for their actions. We will assist our clients in obtaining full and fair justice. I take my role seriously and I will be my client's Warrior for Justice.
